The Dictator features a straight tube, but why? The advantage of a Stainless-Steel Straight Tube is that we eliminate the heat buildup that exists at the bent portion of mil-spec tubes. This is important for suppressed rifles which are subject to very high heat levels.
OEM replacement pins. We use these pins to mount all piston gas blocks to barrels. Once removed POF-USA suggests re-mounting all gas blocks with new taper pins.
Standard on all Minuteman and Rogue rifles, this block is manufactured out of billet steel and nitride heat treated for corrosion resistance. This block is non-adjustable and is intended for use with free float handguards. It comes with 2 set screws and a Mil-spec gas tube roll pin.
Our Tubes are made out of Mil-Spec 304 stainless-steel. They are designed to work with all mil-spec gas blocks. These are the same tubes that we install on our Minuteman rifles and Rogue rifles. Every gas tube will ship with a mil-spec retainer roll pin.
The gas block on an AR-15 pattern firearm is responsible for controlling the gas needed cycle the action after firing. A small amount of gas flows thru the barrel's gas port and into the gas block. This gas then travels rearward into the bolt carrier to start the extraction process.
