The Dictator features a straight tube, but why? The advantage of a Stainless-Steel Straight Tube is that we eliminate the heat buildup that exists at the bent portion of mil-spec tubes. This is important for suppressed rifles which are subject to very high heat levels.
Our Tubes are made out of Mil-Spec 304 stainless-steel. They are designed to work with all mil-spec gas blocks. These are the same tubes that we install on our Minuteman rifles and Rogue rifles. Every gas tube will ship with a mil-spec retainer roll pin.
The gas tube of your firearm secured to the gas block and pinned in place. Gas travels thru the gas tube and into the gas key on the bolt carrier to cycle the action after a round is fired. Gas tubes are typically designed to fit specific barrel lengths and gas systems. It is vital to choose the appropriate gas tube for a specific AR-15 model and configuration.
