The E² dual extraction consists of 4 small channels cut into the walls of the chamber, allowing a small amount of gas pressure to flow backwards and push on the shoulders of the spent casing. This small pressure helps “un-seat” the spent case from the chamber while slightly pushing backwards as the extractor is pulling the case rearward. With this feature, the extractor is no longer doing all the work by itself; therefore the life of the extractor and overall reliability of the rifle system is increased.

This innovative feature is standard on all POF-USA Gen4 rifles.
