AND COUNTING

14.5″ FULL-AUTO P308

“…we decided to continue testing the rifle to complete failure. To date we have not been able to complete this task…”
-After Action Report from unnamed sheriff’s department

RELENTLESS RELIABILITY

“…did not experience any malfunctions until the rifle reached approximately 23,000 rounds. All extraction failures were due to part fatigue and not stuck cases.”

– After Action Report

“No new part related malfunctions were recorded after approximately 35,900 rounds until the round count reached 66,900”

– After Action Report

Our technology works. Ask why, and you’ll quickly understand every enhancement on a POF-USA rifle has a purpose, and it’s certainly not to appease the MILSPEC gods. Our goal is relentless reliability. Even after successful extensive testing like this we continue to improve on the Ultimate Fighting Machine. The P308 is your best bet for certainty in an uncertain world. While everyone else is simply saying their rifles are “proven”, we actually prove it.

ONLY 7 PARTS REPLACED IN 68,580 ROUNDS FIRED

A buffer spring, gas piston, ejector spring and buffer, extractor spring, extractor, and op-rod (at 35.9k and 66.9k). Even though this type of reliability is unheard of, we still made improvements based on this feedback.

E2 SOLVES THE ROOT CAUSE OF EXTRACTION ISSUES

POF-USA’s patented E2 dual-extraction technology consists of four small channels cut into the walls of the chamber allowing a small amount of gas pressure to push against the neck of the spent case. This pressure assists in extraction by breaking the seal between the chamber and case as well as pushing the spent case to the rear as the extractor is pulling to the rear. This removes a tremendous amount of work that would otherwise be left up to the extractor.

Almost all of our rifles come standard with E2 Extraction Technology.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

REDUCING FRICTION WHEREVER POSSIBLE WITH THE ROLLER CAM PIN.

STANDARD AR CAM PIN DAMAGE

This is an example of significant wear on the upper receiver, to the point of needing to replace the part. Without a Roller Cam Pin reducing friction and drag, the standard AR cam pins grind along the inside of the aluminum receiver, eventually wearing them down to the point where the bolt will start clipping the barrel extension. Essentially out of position.

THE POF-USA SOLUTION

Our patented Roller Cam Pin is just one more example of how far we will go to reduce friction and drag. Standard AR cam pins feature a square (steel) head that grinds along the inside of the aluminum receiver. The image above shows the result of not using a roller cam pin.

HOW OTHERS ADDRESS THE PROBLEM

Other manufacturer’s address the friction and drag problem by adding a steel insert to the receiver’s channel, as opposed to solving the actual friction and drag root cause. A steel rectangle will win against aluminum all day long, so other manufacturers added the steel insert to even the metallurgical playing field. Another part, another spot for carbon and dirt to collect, another potential point of failure
Notice the steel insert some manufacturers use to address the problem, only prolonging the issue, not solving it.
Photos of the actual bolt, roller cam pin, and carrier of the torture tested P308. The lack of wear is evident, even after over 68,000 rounds of 308.
